New album from this Colorado based prog metal band is their first studio work since they reformed. Ron Skeen isn’t on board this time. Instead he’s been replaced by John Sellers. Original member John Lutzow is clearly in charge here. Leviathan was always about pure guitar driven power and that’s still what they deliver. Vocalist Jeff Ward has a little bit of a Geddy Lee thing going on, and he fits the music well. The killer is the 13 minute “Distention Of Time”.
